An advanced cruising course for individuals with prior cruising experience. Sailors must act as skipper and/or crew of a sailing vessel 30 to 50 feet in length in coastal and inland waters, in any conditions.
Course Focus:
This course study includes day and night sailing and navigation in coastal waters with preparedness for any weather conditions.
Advanced Anchorage and vessel systems handling is part of the lesson.
Additional Information:
This is a five to seven day Sail and Learn course in Hawaiian waters on either the Ranger 33 or Nordic 44, both blue-water cruisers.
Upon successful completion participants will receive an Advanced Coastal Cruising Certificate.
This course may include a slightly different itinerary based on weather conditions and Captain's discretion.
